Vegetarian Avocado Burger

This passed the family taste test when we forgot the turkey burger patties at a beach picnic.

Yield: 1 Burger


  • 1/2 or 1 whole grain hamburger bun
  • 2 TBSP Thousand Island Dressing (or 3 TBSP Easy Salsa or Zucchini Salsa (previous recipes)
  • slices of 1/4 avocado
  • 1 thick or 2 thin slices tomato
  • 1 slice onion
  • 1 dark leafy lettuce leaf


  1. Assemble ingredients and enjoy!


 Tip: Serve with Baked Beans (previous recipe) and raw veggies.
